Here are some answers to frequently asked questions we get about Medicare set-aside allocations. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact us below.
Once we have received the following, we can start the file review:
We begin work on our reports as soon as we receive the necessary medical records, pharmacy summary, and claims payment history. So, providing these records as soon as you can will help avoid delays. It is also helpful to provide clear information, regarding the date(s) of injury(ies) to be addressed in the report, as well as your instructions regarding any disputed conditions.
If you have a deadline, please advise us on the intake form. We can complete most MSA recommendations within 14 days of receipt of the necessary records. For an additional, nominal fee, we are able to provide RUSH service, which will result in completion of the report within five business days of receipt of the necessary records.
After you have reviewed the report, if you have any questions, please call our main office (770-493-4167). Then, once you know the claim is heading toward settlement, you may wish to submit the MSA to CMS for review. To set the submission process in motion, just let us know what settlement amount you wish to use for the proposal, and we will get to work. Remember that CMS requires all proposals to be accompanied by the claimant’s signed consent.
